SOLUTION 1: Debug your QuickBooks Desktop Application

Fix your QuickBooks Desktop. Here is the process to do it-

  • Choose ‘Program Problems’ in the QuickBooks Tool Hub.
  • Next, tap on Quick Fix my Program.
  • Open QuickBooks Desktop and run the data file.
  • Now navigate to the QuickBooks Tool Hub and choose ‘Installation Issues’.
  • Under the ‘Installation Issues’, click on ‘QuickBooks Install Diagnostic Tool’.
  • Next, fix your Microsoft .NET Framework.
  • Search ‘Microsoft .NET Framework Repair Tool’ on your web browser and click ‘Download’.
  • Once downloaded, finish the installation process.

SOLUTION 2: Change the way you open your QuickBooks Desktop

  • Press and hold ‘Ctrl’ on your keyboard.

  • If you are using Windows 10, follow these steps to fix the issue-
  • On your Windows desktop, go to the ‘start’ menu and click on ‘settings’.
  • Once you tap on ‘Settings’, select ‘Accounts’ and under that, you will find ‘Family and other users.
  • Then select ‘Add someone else to this pc’.
  • After that, click on ‘I don’t have this person’s sign-in information and further, ‘Add a user without a Microsoft account’.
  • Now, type the new account name and click on ‘Finish’.
  • Choose the account you just created and select the ‘Account type’.
  • Finally, click on ‘Administrator’ and tap on ‘Okay’.
